Medieval headgear - from a medieval hat to a medieval collar

The medieval cap, historical hats and medieval collars belong to many characters in Larp. Whether a leather Gugel as a medieval hood or a medieval bonnet for a farmer's wife, a medieval hairnet for the princess or a late medieval beret for lords, the matching medieval headgear is obligatory. Many characters in LARP are not truly complete without a suitable headwear. The battered Medieval felt hat that the peasant takes off when greeting or the turban of the fierce desert warrior contribute significantly to the charm of the roles and also largely convey the desired cliché or a certain stereotype.

The floral wreath for the damsel and the crest for noble knights. All these types of wreaths were worn individually or to attach a cloth or veil to the head or helmet. You can find some helmet decoration in our assortment as well.

We have helmets for knights and padded bonnets to wear underneath, also called padded hoods. You will need these so that the helmet will stay in place and is comfortabl to wear. In addition, a padded hood offers protection against blows to the head.

A Wizard's hat and Witch`s hat are a good choice, if you want to create your character as a Mage, Sorcerer or witch from the Fantasy Larp world. A Druid and a shaman may prefer our wolf's head. For the elf king there is a leather crown from our in-house leather workshop. At Andracor we offer you a large selection of Larp-suitable fantasy and medieval headgear. The typical big pointy wizard hat or witch hat can be found here too.

Pirate hat, Musketeer hat, Tricorn hat and Top hat

Whether a Tricorne for pirates, a leather top hat or a bowler hat for a coachman, musketeer hats, a leather tricorn for all kinds of tramps, a beret from the Renaissance or a noble ladies Tudor hood - a bonnet with veil - with us you will have a lot of options.

Leather tricorn hat or a leather top hat are very popular in Larp for all sorts of crooks, traders and sailors. You can decorate them very individually, because they offer broad surface for decoration. In steampunk it is the cylinder that is ideal for character heads. We also have leather caps and balloon caps that are suitable for both 20s events and steampunk evenings. Skyjackers also could need a decent pirate hat.

Leather Hood & Leather Collar by Andracor

Our Andracor medieval collars and leather hoods are made of particularly high-quality suede leather and are perfectly complemening our range of armor. A robust medieval leather collar completes the outfit of a ranger or hunter. Gugels or medieval hoods are not only a great replacement for a medieval hats when it rains, they are also among the most classic of medieval headgear. Also they are vegetable tanned and produced in our In-House Production here in Berlin - Germany

Turban and Pirate Scarf

For oriental characters such as Bedouins, Tulamids from DSA, or the generic desert warrior of various backgrounds, a neatly tied turban is a popular accessory! We offer both suitable scarves in the appropriate length and width to wrap a turban yourself and also turbans that are pre-wrapped and ready to use! A long turban scarf also works excellently as a pirate sash or as a sash around the waist of an oriental character.

Even a pirate costume is hardly complete without a colorful, pirate-themed headscarf! A good pirate headscarf should be made of a natural material like cotton to avoid unnecessary sweating and itching. The pirate scarf should also be large enough to cover the entire head, of course. Such a cotton cloth is also suitable for other characters and roles, for example, as a headscarf for a maid or tavern wench, or as a neck scarf for a Roman legionnaire.
