Fantasy Larp is a genre within Larp, which takes place in a medieval inspired world. There are worldly characters and themes like knights, warriors, people of the Middle Ages in this world, but additionally you will meet beings from mythology and fantasy. There are hardly any boundaries. You can encounter cat creatures, djinn, lizardmen, living dead, fairies, goblins and much more. But there are also whole fantasy peoples who have their own culture in this fantasy world and are sometimes played in very large groups. Here are the most important ones:

Elves

Elves are very common in Fantasy Larp, they are part of the everyday life in Larp, basically the hurdle to play an elf is not high, because they differ from humans mainly by pointed ears. Dwarves

Dwarves are quite rare in Larp. They are of small but strong statue and often heavily armoured. Their beard is the most important feature of them. They usually live in the mountains and are master blacksmiths. Dwarves usually do not like elves, but this is mutual. They hate Orcs openly and fervently.
 

Orcs & Goblins

Orcs and Goblins are fierce and very combative creatures. Their culture is simple and characterized by tribal and clan structures. They usually keep to themselves and are viewed with resentment or open hatred by the vast majority of other races. This is not least due to the fact that orcs always start wars and sometimes treat other races extremely brutally. Playing an orc demands a lot from you.
