The kilt, a knee-length skirt, is the characteristic garment of male Scots! The checkered pattern, known as tartan, is of particular importance, as since the 18th century it has been common to wear different tartan patterns that serve as identification marks of the respective clan. Our red kilt fastens with buttons around the hip area, and the pleats, which are essential for a kilt, are already sewn in, requiring no knowledge of traditional folding techniques from the wearer. The red kilt is made of acrylic wool and transforms any man – at least on the outside – into a true Scotsman!
