This Strongarm has edges

With the Nerf N-Strike Elite Disruptor, the Strongarm gets a facelift. The blaster is a lot more edgy as the drum blaster, which replaced the Maverick a while ago.

In addition to changes of the slide and the drum design, it is especially striking that the drum is no longer surrounded by a complete frame. Thus, the newly designed drum is easier to reload, since it is fixed and not flipping out. The Disruptor inherited the Slam Fire function of the Strongarm, allowing to fire a stream of darts in quick succession.

As with the Strongarm, the Tactical Rail is installed above the drum and not on the sled. So the sled remains easy to grasp, even when using accessories.

An alternative for the Strongarm?

The range claim of up to 27m could make the Disruptor a Strongarm alternative for those who like the more angular design of the Disruptor.
