The Nodachi or Ōdachi is the longest representative of Japanese swords. Actually so long that it is almost unwieldy, it was rather used ceremonially. Its only purpose was the open field battle, in which it could be swung disastrously due to its overlength. This upholstered Nodachi is especially beautiful and detailed and not the longest representative of its kind, which makes it still manageable. The handle is wrapped in a special knot technique, like the originals. The parryguard (the Tsuba) is golden and has a noble appearance.

The upholstery weapon consists of a round core rod covered with powerful foam. A thick layer of latex makes the Larp weapon particularly resistant. At the tip Kevlar is worked in to prevent tearing out. With good care, it makes for long lasting pleasure in Larp.
