This greek style breastplate (also called muscle armour), is an example of our new line of Larp armor parts made of polyurethane.
More PU armor parts from the Spartan line:
They look deceptively similar to real metal, but of course have some other properties: For one thing, they are significantly lighter than steel. This makes them interesting for those who find metal armor too heavy. Besides pure "laziness" this also affects people with e.g. back problems or other physical disadvantages. For cosplayers who are more interested in the look of their gear than realism, a PU armor can be an option, too. PU armor does not rust. This of course makes the maintenance of the armour parts easier. PU armor is flexible to a certain degree. They give a little bit of slack under pressure and can therefore be adjusted to different sizes a little easier than metal armor.
Important: although these armors are made of polyurethane and not metal, they will reliably protect you from the blows of a Larp weapon!
