Monster Masks & Zombie Masks - Change to the Orc or Undead
Monster masks are essential for some races in live role-playing. Especially in Fantasy Larp some characters aren't necessarily human. The sharp-edged faces and pig-like noses of the orcs, for example, can't be represented well without an orc mask.
In order to portray a non-human character larpers often have to get creative. Here masks come in, because nothing goes faster and is less complicated than putting on a monster mask. Our theatre masks are great for quickly becoming orcs or undead.
The theatre masks section at Andracor specializes in classic Larp characters. One will find zombie masks, orc masks and many more monster masks for the transformation into another creature.
Professional Theatre Masks - Our Latex Half Masks
The theatre masks of our partner shop Maskworld.com take things a little further. You glue these half masks to your face with mastix skin glue. They look extremely realistic because they pick up the facial expression of the wearer as a conventional monster mask does not. A real advantage for Larpers who like to work with mimic-rich play. Especially lizard and cat creatures profit a lot from it.
Before choosing a Larp mask, you should consider for which use it is intended and how to use and care for it correctly. Half masks are in any case connected with some effort considering make-up, which a simple overmask does not have. If you only want to fight and not talk like an undead for instance, a simple zombie mask is enough. If language is added, we rather recommend the half mask variant. A special feature are foamed latex masks or silicone masks. These cling extremely well to the own head form and seem unbelievably realistic. This makes it possible to create a truly cinematic appearance.
Leather masks for masked ball and theatre - The Commedia dell'arte mask
High-quality leather masks can be found in addition to our monster masks in our shop. These are well suited for a Venetian masked ball, a Baroque, Rococo or Renaissance Larp or Patrician Larp. They are based on the medieval theater masks and later Venetian masks, as they are known from the field of Commedia dell'arte or the carnival in Venice. Andracor itself produces leather masks in Berlin and here the range is constantly expanding with classic leather masks for Larp & Theater.
Our leather masks are handmade and vegetable tanned. They are handpainted.
